It looks to me like there is no one on this site sticking to the topic at hand. My girlfriend and me came on this site to attempt to find out more about certain contractors, and instead find a weirdo giving out unrelated news about her ex husband. Who cares about someone applying for a credit card in anyones name, we all have applied for a credit card at some point in our lives. Pretty stupid comment I think, and totally out to get the guy. All I want to know is who to hire as a contractor and I heard this company was really good from one of his old clients, and then I come on this site and read he doesn't pay his child support. Who cares what he does in his own personal life and why is this ex of his sharing her dirty laundry with the rest of the world? I think she's a bit messed up and I'd still hire the company after hearing her comment, I don't have to depend on this guy to support my child so who cares. All I want to know is if he can build me a new bathroom and thats it. What a messed up site and no use to us at all. No one wants to hear about your relationship with the guy. Weird!

'Clark', I forgot to respond to a few of your comments You: "as for the emails sent to you pertaining to his kids, I can't see why anyone would send you these types of emails unless they were true, if not then why send them." A- Only one person who can answer that question. Best guess... he was 7+ months overdue on a 3 week job. You: "Besides there is no way to prove that they were sent by this company and for all anyone know's you could have written them yourself to incriminate him further, I am not saying you did or not" A- At this time the e-mails are in the hands of the Crown, my MLA, a special investigator with the RCMP, my lawyer and Service Alberta... so they seem to have passed the litmus test. You: "I am kind of wondering if this company even knows you have listed this type of discriminatory information on this site in reference to what he has alledgedly done to you and others." A- The term isn't 'discriminatory' (unfair or prejudicial distinction between different categories of people or things), you were probably thinking of the word 'Defamation'.. however 'libel' does fit better as it relates to the written word; Please Note: 'once a claim has been made, the defendant may avail themselves to a defense of justification (the truth), fair comment, responsible communication, or privilege.' Everything I've written IS TRUE, so if this 'company' sees what is written here (between you and me... I think he has) and somehow talks a lawyer into going through with some charade of a court case... I will have no problem proving this with the amount of evidence and witnesses I have... Read carefully: I am in no way, shape, or form worried. I sleep like a baby. My comments are to provide information to an unsuspecting public regarding his 'business practices'. In fact I think any lawyer worth their weight would remind him that EVERYONE involved will be under oath and frankly I would LOVE to have the chance to ask some very pointed questions in a court of law. Anything else?

FYI

Nigel has been charged with 4 more counts of fraud over $5000 and has been arrested. Are you sure this man deserves your friendship and support?

To the poster on July 8th... if you can get ahold of me I would like to trade stories and see what we can do to get information to all of the victims of Nigel Ryder/Nu Renovations. I have kept all of the e-mails from him and would love to hear what stories you were told... Just find me on twitter or facebook and we can talk then.

Thanks for the F.Y.I, but that does not mean anything to us. Dude, do you know how many companies are not a part of the better business bureau and if they are it was not by choice. It just takes one person to call and compain or verify a company and then they write the companies information on their site and give him an F if he does not want to pay for his listing or information to be published. It's a money scam like all the rest so even if it gives this guy an F, that does not mean a thing, it could mean many things rather than the truth. Don't take the complete word of the better business bureau for everything people, and I agree with the other guy that this site has lost it's potential for honest information about contractors in general. My advice is to Quit while you are ahead, I am sure everyone will likely decide the truth on their own when it comes to this guy and his company.
