Great design team, but product Ekko uses is from Norcraft in Winnipeg, and it has lots of manufacturing defects. Warped pieces, and pitted and dented doors, runny lacquer, single coats of lacquer, mismatched colour and more. Ekko's response was to reorder pieces until you're blue in the face. Some of ours were reordered 6 times, and still had visible, significant defects. I think they hope you'll just give up in frustration! And they demand 90% upfront before delivery, so there's nothing for them to lose. The installer they use employs lots of "cheats" to get the job done quickly, which makes more work for the counter installers and touch-up guys who come after. And he used a key in a lockbox to let himself in to work unsupervised and without our knowledge. After this fiasco, Ekko tells me they no longer deal with Norcraft, which I'm happy to hear, but now I'm left with a substandard kitchen that cost me plenty.
