The price looked reasonable but the cost to fix his butcher job made it all terribly expensive. Didn't use the product nor process he contracted. Wouldn't fix his mistakes. I would recommend avoiding Mr. Steve Nicholson regardless of under which company he is operating.

Feel free to look at Ontario Small claims court case SC-15-00000387-0000 in London Ontario. It still took 16 months for him to pay. Fortunately there were huge penalties and I could go after him personally as well if he didn't pay by 16 months. He wouldn't fix his own work unless we paid him an hourly rate so we had to sue. Seems very nice and helpful to get the contract. I rated him as Very expensive because he caused so much damage, far more than the price of the job.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Steer clear of Steve Nicholson and his 'incorporated' company called Smoothcrete. His work is totally unacceptable. Wish we had read reviews before we paid (and lost) $9400 for a totally botched concrete job. We were unsuccessful in small claims court because the judge did not understand why we had to have the whole project redone despite having 44 pictures showing the mess. This has consumed our lives for the past year. Smoothcrete/Steve Nicholson continues to advertise on kijiji throughout the GTA and the 401 corridor to Windsor. BEWARE.
