The direction has always been to provide quality plants, excellent customer service and plant knowledge to our customers. This farm allows us to increase our growing potential and we have added a seven-acre u-pick blueberry farm to our public offerings. With good sunny weather this summer, we expect the first crops to be picked in 2010 — Olympic berries!. Founded in 1992, Paradise Plants Garden Centre has been a signature business in the Comox Valley. We carry a wide assortment of planting material, including trees, shrubs, conifers, hedging, rhododendrons, Japanese maples, perennials and hanging baskets. As an environmental initiative we focus on growing as much of our own product as possible. In 2006 we purchased our 24 acre organic farm five minutes north of Courtenay. Our focus has been to teach our clients an organic approach to gardening, and we have refused the used of chemical pesticides from our onset, proving that it is entirely possible to be excellent gardeners without using chemicals
