We had a leak somewhere. Needed to find source. Milani came and gave me a quote after checking things over. As things kept progressing [after 1 day I phoned the office to speak to the person that had given me the quote and to find out what was going on] ...I would call for information/updates. ...etc. No phone calls back to me.....ever. As I was sure by the 2nd day that they were working beyond what the agreed- upon amount would be...with no updates, no authorization I began to figure out what might be going on. 2nd day called. Person not available, left message, no one e v e r called! On the 3rd day I believe it was I called again and was told by someone at their office that there was someone on their way over with the final bill and they would explain it to me. I for the 4/5th time asked for the person that I originally spoke with. I got nothing. Someone did come to the door with the bill. I explained that I was waiting for ___ to call me back (and had left many messages). I explained to them that ____ had given me a quote and had not returned phone calls so if they had gone over the limit and thought I did not deserve a call back then that was on their part very poor judgement. I handed my cheque to the employee that had been sent to deliver the bill to me and asked him to ask ___ to call me. That person never did call.... e v e r. I paid only for the amount that we had agreed on. I had some collections folks call me 2 weeks later. I told them I was still waiting for ___ to call me and to get back to me after they had spoken to ___. No one ever called. There is a word for this type of treatment and manipulation which I will refrain from using on this site.
