Robert Vieville (Homes by VCB) is not an honest contractor at all, please be advised that he has taken deposits on jobs/contracts and then not completed them, taking off with the money. We were first time home builders and he very much took advantage of our lack of knowledge in such matters. Our final bill for our build was about $50,000 more than our original contract was supposed to be for. He did our contract in two parts (which we never should have agreed to, but didn't know an better) and in doing so, was able to change the agreed upon amount for the build or we would have been left with no one to finish building our house. His business etiquette is extremely lacking and he does not treat his customers well. He was very difficult to deal with and did not follow through on many of the details of our contract. To our knowledge he is still working, privately contracting out his services doing renovations and projects but has moved on to Regina, Sask. leaving behind many who are left holding the bag with liens against their properties because he did not pay tradesmen he had hired.
