Kitchener. Since its start in 1955, Heer's has evolved into one business with three different focuses. This location was the first of its kind in the area and developed to specifically service painting contractors, commercial and industrial clients. In the late 90's they added an additional decorating centre at 1120 Victoria St. In the fall of 1955, Clarence Heer opened Heer's Paint Service at 677 Belmont Blvd. Firstly, a full decorating store for the do-it-yourselfer by providing quality decorating products at competitive prices. The 1970s also meant a new tact for Heer's with the opening of a dedicated commercial facility located at 330 Gage St. The business continued to grow in the 1980s and 1990s and that meant further expansion and enhancement of Heer's Services and product offerings. We assist our clients through all aspects of design, including the floor coverings, paint and wallpaper selection, custom furniture, everything right down to the selection of pictures and accessories. W. So much, in fact, that in 1967, the Belmont location grew into a full 2,000-square-foot showroom and an additional 2,500 square feet of warehouse and office space.
