The Ministry of Energy, of Ecology, of SustainableDevelopment and of the Sea and the Ministry of Health and Sports of the FrenchRepublic have confirmed, on June 23 2010, the grant of approval for the BIONEST®treatment system identified as BIONEST PE-5. Bionest offers a septic installation which may reduce the size of the area used for the leaching bed in permeable soil by up to 66%. System allows for exceptional wastewater treatment and the total elimination of odours. In recent weeks, in Quebec, misleading information was spread alleging "heating" or "hidden" costs associated with the use of a BIONEST® system. There are no such costs. System offers a solution for the disposal and treatment of wastewater where conventional systems are inadequate, such as in low permeable soil, a high water table, bedrock and small lots. Bionest is an alternative to conventional septic installations. The best defence against the occurrence of blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) is the combination of BNQ certified high-performance technology and a polishing leaching field in conformance
